Frequently asked questions

I have absolutely no martial arts experience. Can I still train at Be Muay?

Yes. Be Muay welcomes individuals of all fitness levels, backgrounds and age groups. Under Kru Suphan’s structured pedagogy, every movement is broken down scientifically, ensuring you develop a solid, authentic foundation at your own pace. There is no prerequisite except a genuine interest—the heart comes first.

I do not speak Thai. Will there be a language barrier during the sessions?

Not at all. Having taught students in over 40 countries, Kru Suphan knows exactly how to teach without language barriers. By using clear visual demonstrations, step-by-step instructions, and the universal language of body mechanics, he ensures you will easily understand, feel, and master every technique, no matter what language you speak.

What should I bring for my first session, and is gear provided?

Please wear comfortable athletic clothing that allows for a full range of motion, particularly for kicks and knee strikes. All essential training equipment is provided, though you are welcome to bring your own gloves if you prefer.

Please note that you will likely sweat intensely during the session. We highly recommend bringing a towel and a change of clothes. A quick shower facility is available at the gym for your convenience after training.

How long does it take to progress through the Khan Grading system? Also, can I take Kru certification course at Be Muay? How about Trainer/Coach course?

Progression depends entirely on your personal dedication and the required training hours. To become a certified kru (teacher), at Be Muay, we do not offer standalone Kru Courses. Regardless of your past experience, every practitioner must begin with our core foundation to truly understand our teaching process with kru Suphan. If you choose to walk this path with Be Muay, please understand that true mastery takes time. However, naturally, experienced Muay Thai practitioners and martial artists can reach the gateway faster.

For those seeking immediate, direct Kru certification programs without completing these foundational steps, we recommend contacting the Kru Muaythai Association (K.M.A.) Headquarters directly.

For Muay Thai Trainer / Coach Course by SitSuphan and Be Muay is available for those who fulfill the specific prerequisite criteria.

Do you accept institutional bookings or international workshop requests?

Yes. We welcome enquiries from international gyms, martial arts organizations, schools, and cultural institutions seeking to elevate their techniques or collaborate on educational programs. For group bookings, special seminars, or corporate camps, please submit the contact form above.

What payment methods do you accept?

For your convenience, we accept a variety of payment methods. You can settle your fees via credit/debit cards, PayPal, international wire transfers, or local cash. If you are training with us locally in Thailand, we also fully support PromptPay QR code payments.
